PAIN MANAGEMENT – You don’t have to live with pain. You should know that physical therapy is an integral part of a pain management program. Our therapists use specialized treatments and techniques to relieve your pain, promote healing and restore function. Our therapists know that people experience pain in different ways, and we’re trained to manage all kinds of pain, including acute, chronic, neuropathic and more.
WOMEN’S HEALTH – Women have unique health concerns and, therefore, unique healthcare needs. We provide specialized care for such problems as low back pain during pregnancy, fibromyalgia (which is more common among women), osteoporosis and osteopenia, pelvic pain, rehabilitation following breast cancer surgery/breast reconstruction and more.
TMJ DYSFUNCTION – Your temporomandibular joints (TMJ) are the jaw joints that allow you to talk, chew, swallow, yawn and much more. TMJ dysfunction is common and painful. With specialized training, our physical therapists evaluate your medical history, jaw mechanics and facial muscles to determine the source and nature of your pain. Then they use specific treatments — such as gentle manual techniques, myofascial release, strengthening exercises and more to help you get the relief you need.
VESTIBULAR REHABILITATION – Dizziness and problems with equilibrium/balance can dramatically impact your quality of life and increase your risk of injury. We can design a program that’s tailored specifically to retrain your balance system and reduce and potentially eliminate your symptoms. With our specially trained therapists, you can experience reduced vertigo, decreased nausea and improved balance, coordination and visual-vestibular interaction.
